Introduction: What to Expect {Part 1}

Are you ready to discover how to mentor biblically without being overwhelmed?

That's what this course is all about. In the introductory video below, I'll share with you what to expect from the course and how to move through the content. But before you watch the video, I have a few thoughts for you on how to approach this course.

1. Choose Your Study Routine

The videos are presentation-driven, meaning you'll see content related to the topic as opposed to watching me on camera, as is such in this introductory video. You can take as long as you want to go through this course, especially if you're studying alone. If you're doing this course with a group, please refer to the Leader's Guide for the suggested format.

If you're studying independently, feel free to choose the flow that best matches your learning style:

  1. Videos First: Go straight to the video and then pick up Impact Together: Biblical Mentoring Simplified and read the content.
  2. Videos Second: Go straight to Impact Together: Biblical Mentoring Simplified and read the content, then watch the video.

The videos are designed to reiterate what is in the book, but they are full of fresh content and stories to drive home the principles.

2. Don't forget to grab your downloads in each session!

Each session will include Key Verse and Worksheet downloads and possibly other resources and links in the "Materials tab just above the progress bar on each lesson page.

If you're doing the study as a group, you might want to print out copies of the key verse to send home with your participants.

The Worksheet for each session will help you set realistic expectations for this course, whether doing it on your own or as a group.

If you don't already have a copy of Impact Together: Biblical Mentoring Simplified, you'll find the download in this module too!

3. Grab the Bonuses

You'll also want to grab your bonuses, which you'll find in the Bonuses module!
